Ecozmo proAqua Varnish

ECOZMO proAqua VARNISH A high technology product for wood surfaces without the use of PU (polyurethane), Alkyd and Acrylic (Polymer). It was introduced in 2006 in Germany and Hong Kong. Ecozmo pro-Aqua Varnish is mainly used for vertical wood and metal surfaces without heavy wearing and is suitable for used indoor/outdoor.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Characteristics: It is easy to apply, fast drying, weather resistant and has an excellent adhesiveness. Because of its unique composition, Ecozmo proAqua Varnish is virtually innocuous for people and environment.

Uses: Weather resistant paint for use on wood and primed metal surfaces. For floors, staircases or other heavily-used surfaces, apply Ecozmo proAqua Lacquer.

Colour : Clear (not suitable for outdoor) and 10 standard colours tinted with 'zero' VOC colourant from Ecozmo Natural Mix System.

Theoretical Coverage: 11-14 sq m / litre. Coverage varies considerably depending on application methods and surface roughness & porosity.

No of Coat Recommended: 2 - 3 coats.

Pack Size: 0.68 and 2.25 litres.

Application Tools: Soft brush, short-pile roller or spray gun. Important : All tools must be clean and free from any oil-based material.

Thinning Rate: For Interior use : 5-15% clean water. For Exterior use : 5-15% clean water for the 1st coat; no dilution for 2nd and 3rd coat.

Drying time: Touch dry in 25 minutes, sanding and re-coating after 2 hours. (Calculated based on single coat of standard thickness and at 25°C and 50% RH. Drying may varies depending on temperature and relative humidity).

Preparation:
1. The wood surface must be clean and free from dust, grease and loose bits.
2. For old paints, remove loose or flaky paints; sand the surface to remove the gloss of the old paint and clean well.
3. If painting on newly painted surfaces with oil-based paint, make sure the paint has been dried for at least 7-10 days before applying proAqua Varnish.

Application Method:
1. Applied by brush, roller or spray.
2. Use water to thin down and for tool cleaning.
3. For indoor wood surface : Add 5-15% water to dilute; Apply 2-3 coats. For outdoor wood surface : Dilute 5-15% for the 1st coat; Apply 2-3 coats undiluted. Apply in thinly and evenly.
4. Light sanding (120-180 grit) is advisable between coats and clean well.

IMPORTANT:
1. Before applying tinted proAqua Varnish, test the colour on the wood to be painted to ensure the final effect. Colours will deepen with more coats.
2. For lighter colours, dilute with proAqua Varnish Clear.
3. TIPS: To ensure eveness of colour, apply a thin coat of proAqua Varnish clear diluted with water (2:1) as the 1st coat. When dried, apply tinted colours.
4. Dilution may varies depending on the wood absorption and the tools used.
5. Wear a glove during application. Cover the paint and tools with wet cloth to avoid drying when taking a break.

Ingredients: Water, earth pigments, mineral filling material, vinegar ester, preservatives.
