Ecozmo TextureBase
Ecozmo TextureBase produces a variety of unique textured finishes for walls. It can also be used to disguise rough, uneven wall and ceiling surfaces. Perfect as a base for 'watercolour' effect with Ecozmo ColourWash.
Product Features
Characteristics : Ecozmo TextureBase is totally natural and will not affect the breathability of the paint.
Uses : Ecozmo TextureBase should be used together with Ecozmo Eco Emulsion / ClayPaint to produce attractive and unique textured finishes to walls and ceilings. This textured finish provides an excellent surface for decorating with Ecozmo ColourWash and Ecozmo WallGlaze.
Colour : Insoluble white natural granules.
Coverage : 1-2 kg of Ecozmo TextureBase per 4 litre of Ecozmo Eco Emulsion / 5 litre of ClayPaint, covers approximately 48 to 52 sq m (1 coat).
Ingredients : Quartz sand, clay, cellulose.
Pack Size : 4 kg
Application Method :
1. Applied by brush.
2. Use water to thin down and for tool cleaning.
3. Stir the powder into ready-mixed paint slowly and mix well. A little extra water may be added to the paint to assist workability.
4. Apply in " ∞ " movement with a large block brush. IMPORTANT : TextureBase should ONLY be added to the 1st coat of paint.
5. After about 6 hours when the paint dries, sand the wall very lightly with sand paper followed by drying brushing to remove the loose sand particles.
6. Apply 2nd coat of paint (without adding TextureBase) to finish.
7. Option : After the 2nd coat of paint dries thoroughly. ColourWash effects can be added on top to create beautiful Watercolour effects.
